Ireland’s oldest bowling club
Founded in 1842, Belfast Bowling Club is Ireland’s oldest bowling club.
In April 2017, we were delighted to celebrate our 175th anniversary celebrations with a Stormont reception hosted by Alliance MLA Paula Bradshaw.

Range of Friendly Matches, Competitions And Social Events…
The club has a very active calendar of seasonal inter-club bowling competitions.
For those who perhaps would prefer a laid back opportunity to play informally we have a range of friendly matches at our superb facilities based in Deramore Park in South Belfast.
New members, playing or non-playing, novices or experienced and visitors always made very welcome.
Make new friends with active social calendar throughout the year.
Superb bowling in the Heart of South Belfast
There is a commanding view of our bowling green from the Bowler’s Lounge.
Our club room is well used throughout the year for social activities including Music Nights, Quiz Nights, Bingo Nights, etc.
Each year ends with our ever-popular annual Dinner Dance and Prize Giving event.

Superb bowling in the Heart of South Belfast
Based in Deramore Park in the heart of South Belfast, our current bowling green was first laid in 2002.
Careful maintenance by the greenkeeper and rink rotation by the Green Committee ensure the green is kept in magnificent condition.
Nestled in the heart of leafy South Belfast, the Deramore complex is in an idyllic location flanked by the River Lagan and Lagan Meadows to the east and south and overlooked to the north and west by large detached houses.
